Blood Donation Camps

“Every Drop Counts, Every Donor Matters”

Blood donation camps in colleges represent one of the most vital initiatives in healthcare outreach, bringing life-saving opportunities directly to young, healthy potential donors. These campus-based drives bridge medical needs and student communities, transforming college spaces into temporary but essential healthcare hubs. By organizing these camps, the college not only contributes to maintaining blood bank supplies but also help instill a sense of social responsibility among students. This activity is part of Best Practices of College.

These drives are particularly effective because college students typically fall within the ideal age group for blood donation – they’re generally healthy, energetic, and eager to make a difference in society. The collegiate environment also provides a perfect setting for raising awareness about the constant need for blood donations and dispelling common myths surrounding the process.

NSS, NCC units along with IQAC of the College organize these camps every year in association of Civil Hospital, Nashik and Arpan Blood Bank. During COVID-19 times, the College organised blood donation camps at the request of the local administration to face the blood scarcity.
