Institutional Perspective Plan

Gokahle Education Society’s HPT Arts and RYK Science College envisages the following areas as its perspective plan when the college is entering in the Centenary Period (2022-2024). The following four domains are identified to focus on along with regular academic and evaluation activities.

(A) Developing Scientific Temperament and Critical Attitude

Statement of Purpose:

The chief aim of this area is to organize various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities to cultivate Scientific Temperament and Critical Attitude among students, in order to create global consciousness.

Objectives:

  1. To create awareness among students towards rational thinking
  2. To encourage students to participate in activities boosting scientific temperament
  3. To help students of all subjects to inculcate critical attitude
  4. To collaborate with various institutions to offer experiential learning to students

Statement of Purpose:

This area of perspective plan chiefly aims at highlighting Indian Traditions in various domains to bring forth its relevance with the present time and also make students aware about their enriched local conditions.

Objectives:

  1. To make students aware about Indian traditions in various domains like education, research, food, health
  2. To present various knowledge systems from India
  3. To create interlink between ancient Indian traditions and contemporary scenario
  4. To organize events to popularize Indian traditions
  5. To encourage students and teachers to study Indian traditions in-depth

(C) Empowerment of Girl students and Female Staff Members

Statement of Purpose:

The main aim of this area is to empower girl students by prioritizing their physical, psychological and academic development through various co-curricular and extra-curricular activities. Along with this the college also proposes to provide encouragement to female staff by organizing activities to achieve their physical-mental wellbeing and academic excellence.

Objectives:

  • To create awareness among girl-students about their physical, psychological and academic issues
  • To provide them various platforms through which personality development of girl-students can be achieved
  • To organize events/activities to introduce new skills, knowledge fields and career opportunities
  • To provide counselling to girl-students in formal and informal ways
  • To help female staff members to achieve academic excellence and physical-psychological well being
