COMMITTEE FOR SC/ST
Aim: To ensure equal opportunities and social justice for SC/ST students in educational, economic, and social spheres.
Objectives of SC/ST Committee:
- Implement state and central government policies and programs effectively
- Provide academic and personal counselling support to SC/ST students
- Create a safe and inclusive campus environment
- Establish grievance redressal mechanisms for SC/ST students
Role and Responsibilities of SC/ST Committee:
- Facilitate integration of SC/ST students into the mainstream academic environment
- Oversee and assist with scholarship applications, disbursement, and related processes
- Conduct regular guidance and mentoring sessions to support student development
- Keep students informed about educational schemes, opportunities, and benefits available to them
