BIS-Standards Club is established under aegis of Science Association- The Curious Minds and in association with BIS, Mumbai. This Club aims to promote quality consciousness and standardization awareness among students. The Club is related to the Best Practice of the College.
Key Objectives
- To create awareness among students about quality standards, certification processes, and the importance of standardization in various industries, helping them understand how standards impact product quality and consumer safety in everyday life.
- To organize practical activities and workshops that familiarize students with BIS certification procedures, testing methods, and quality control processes, providing them hands-on experience with standardization practices.
- To develop leadership skills and professional competencies by engaging students in quality-related projects, seminars, and competitions that enhance their understanding of industrial standards and quality management systems.
- To establish connections between academic learning and industrial applications by arranging industrial visits, expert lectures, and interactions with BIS professionals, helping students understand the practical implementation of standards in the real world.
