Purpose & Objectives of Anti-Ragging Committee
The committee serves to maintain a ragging-free campus environment through supervision and guidance.
1. Educate students about ragging’s harmful and dehumanizing effects on individuals
2. Maintain constant vigilance to prevent initial and repeat incidents of ragging
3. Take immediate and strict action when ragging incidents are reported
4. Create a disciplined environment by clearly communicating zero tolerance for ragging, ensuring all incidents face consequences
Role and Responsibilities of Anti-Ragging Committee
- Develop and implement anti-ragging regulations in compliance with UGC guidelines and government norms
- Ensure prominent display of anti-ragging notices across campus notice boards to raise awareness and deter ragging incidents
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of all preventive measures and disciplinary actions taken regarding ragging cases
