About Department Of Journalism
The Department of Mass Communication and Journalism was established in the academic year 1983-84 by the HPT Arts and RYK Science College. This is the first Department in the North Maharashtra. The passed out students from this Department are working various positions like Editors, Assistant/Executive/Residential/News editors, Subeditors, Reporters, Correspondents, News Anchors, Newscasters etc. Objectives of department are to provide trained and skilled manpower to the media organisations. The passed out students are also working in the allied media sectors like Public Relations and Advertising. The Department creates job opportunities for the students.
